Borrowing Physical Items
The library building is currently closed. Curbside pick-up is available for selected library materials. If you would like to borrow books, please contact us at accessservices@sunydutchess.edu.
Interlibrary loan (ILLiad) and SUNY Resource Sharing for physical books are also suspended until further notice. Interlibrary loan requests are available for articles. Follow the links in RitzDiscovery to request an article that is not available through our online resources.
Scanning and loaning of reserve books is not available while the library is closed.
Items on Loan
Items on loan can be renewed in RitzDiscovery (renewal instructions) or via email at accessservices@sunydutchess.edu.
Overdue fines for items due on or after March 6, 2020 will be waived until further notice.
Items can be returned to the 24-hour book drop at the Creek Road entrance to Hudson Hall.

The Francis U. & Mary F. Ritz Library entrance is located on the third floor of Hudson Hall.
The following technology and printing resources are available at the Ritz Library.
Quiet study areas and rooms are available throughout the library. Please ask for assistance in locating these areas at any library service desk.
The library building is closed. Remote services are available. AskUs24/7 is available 24 hours a day.

Visitors are welcomed and may use our books, periodicals, newspapers and computers while in the library.
Visitors may be eligible for borrowing privileges. Please visit the Circulation Desk to inquire about eligibility.
Food is not permitted in the library.
Beverages in non-spill containers may be brought into the library; however, they cannot be left near computers or laptops. Hudson Hall has several seating areas, outside of the library, where food is permitted.
