RitzDiscovery will give you a "No online access -- Click Here for Additional Details" message. Follow the links to complete the resource sharing request. If SUNY is unable to fill the request, it will automatically enter the Interlibrary Loan (ILLiad) system.
Articles filled by SUNY will be sent to your sunydutchess email account, typically within 24-48 hours. If an article must be filled through ILL, you will be notified through email to access your ILL account. You can check the status of your article request through your ILLiad account.
Please login using your myDCC credentials.
If you have not logged in before, you will be asked to enter your contact information. Once completed or if you already have an ILL account, you will be transferred to the ILLiad Main Menu.
Your request will automatically populate if you initiated it from RitzDiscovery. Otherwise, select New Request --> Book or New Request --> Article, and enter all required information.
Hit Submit Request.
Article requests are typically filled within 48 business hours.
You can log into Interlibrary Loan (ILLiad) at any time to check on the status of your request.
What is Resource Sharing?
Resource Sharing allows the borrowing and lending of books and articles within the SUNY network. If an item is unavailable through SUNY, an Interlibrary loan request is generated.
What is Interlibrary loan?
Interlibrary loan allows for participating libraries to lend and borrow materials. If a book or article is not owned by our library, it may be available from another library through Interlibrary loan. We cannot guarantee that the item you request will be available from another library.
