Place a Hold

Holds can be placed on circulating books at the Ritz Library. Holds can be picked up at the Ritz Library (Poughkeepsie campus) or at DCC @ Fishkill. 

Step 1: If you locate an item in RitzDiscovery that you would like to borrow, the Get It section of the record will display a link to Place Hold on DCC Item. Click on the link. 

Step 2: Select your pickup location (Ritz Library or DCC Fishkill) and click Send Request.

Step 3: A box will appear confirming that your hold has been placed (your request has been submitted). You can then monitor your request in your library card account online. You will receive an email when the item is available to be picked up.
