How to Use RitzDiscovery

My Library Account

Access your library account from the Sign In link in the top right corner of RitzDiscovery. Enter your myDCC credentials to view your personal information and borrowing activity.  You can also place holds and renew library materials through your account.

All students, faculty, and staff must have a DCC ID card to use the library account features. Please visit Campus Security to obtain an ID card.

Sign in Ritz Discovery

Please note: You can view the contents of library databases (articles, eBooks, videos, etc.) without clicking on the Sign In prompts in RitzDiscovery. The library databases and your library card account in RitzDiscovery are different software systems but both use the same myDCC login credentials.

Saving Favorites

See an item you want to save for later? Click on the pin icon to the right of your search item to save it as a favorite. (If you are not signed in, pinning favorites will only last for the current session.)

To view your saved favorites, click on the pin in the upper right corner of the screen.

If you want to remove something from your favorites, click the pin with the line through it. Pin with a slash

Applying Actions in Bulk

When you are looking at a list of results, you can see boxes around the result numbers. This allows you to manually select results to add to favorites, etc. Once you have selected items, you can click on the favorites pin at the top right of the search results, or the ellipsis for more actions.

How to select multiple items for bulk actions

You can also select the entire page of results using the box at the top of the search results. Once you select that, you also have the option of selecting the top 50 results.
